Anima Mundi Apothecary

By far the most potent medicinal herbal tinctures that I have ever had, and I have had scores of them from all over the world, Anima Mundi Apothecary's elixirs are truly transformational tonics. I love the Corpus Lucem for its direct energy charge to the Love essence within. The taste is luscious and rich, and very addictive!

The Viridem is an exquisite green superfood tonic with rainforest herbs like moringa and sea foods like spirulina. I felt boosts of energy and clarity after drinking this elixir, not to mention the spiritual charge coming over me. I simply loves these blends.

The Blood tonic might very well be my favorite of all I've tried because of its intense cleansing and restorative action. I feel my eyes are clearer, my flexibility has increased, and my sleep is more deep and restful. And yes, the  color of the tonic is reminiscent of actual blood!

I was lucky to get all these items from Santa Barbara's Alchemy Spa Cafe, but they can also be ordered online and with a 40% discount throughout November! I love love love Anima Mundi herbals and will be buying them exclusively for all my herbal health needs.

Eating Breast Milk

Colostrum, the first food of newborn babies straight from their mum's breast, is a superfood for adults as well. Immune boosting, digestive healing and energy enhancing, this natural elixir can help to supplement a healthy diet or to maximize healing during a juice fast.

Tarot on the Beach

Tarot and the ocean go hand in hand. The simple serenity of the seashore and the dynamic archetypes of the Tarot enhance and inspire each other. On this bright day enjoying Oceanview beach, I pulled three major arcana cards from the Wild Unknown deck.

First, The Fool: An innocent one approaching the field of infinite possibilities. A unique soul who risks all in order to fully embrace life, to experience all the magnificence that living has to offer. This sweet, sometimes foolhardy creature steps out on faith, lives by grace and in so doing embarks upon a hero's journey filled with adventure and excitement. For the Fool, life is no dull moment.

Second, The Lovers: Two joined in holy love, soaring together to the depths and hieghts of communion and integration with another soul. Mates for life for whom nothing can cause separation, joined as they are in spirit. These two complement one another and exists in tandem, they communicate telepathically, transform during sexual union into one being, and together reach spiritual dimensions far and beyond what is acheivable alone.

Lastly, The Magician: That master who wields power thorugh attunement with all 4 elements and therefore steps through the Divine portal. With a synergy of water that flows, fire that alights, air that inspires and earth that steadies, the Magi overcomes every worldly obstacle easily and thus, knows no bounds, no limitations and no lack.

Quail Egg Shells

Quail eggs have become for me an essential daily superfood ritual. I have been consuming the raw eggs for a few years now and honestly I do feel that I am growing younger. Lately, after doing some research on tooth repair, I decided to begin eating the egg shells as well. Chock full of calcium, the shells have been proven to regenerate lost teeth and improve overall bone function. For women over forty and growing children, pure and easily absorbable calcium in such a natural form can't be beat. What a treat these little gems are! Thank you, dear quail~

Brighton by Sea

Take a walk through the seaside town of Brighton, UK. Prance down Norfolk street from downtown and hit the water.

Stop and have breakfast at the Brighton Hotel and enjoy some very fresh and tasty food.

Work off your meal by strolling down the boardwalk, feasting your eyes on the sights and sounds.

Check out the beautiful and colorful architecture

If you find yourself still lingering at dusk, just relax and book a room at the cozy Brighton Hotel. You know t's worth it for the free breakfast you'll enjoy in the morning.

Santa Barbara

Santa Barbara is a lovely coastal town with a year round temperature of 70 give or take a few degrees. It has been dubbed The American Rivera for its similarity to such European cities as St. Tropez and Monaco.SB has winding hills,

Palm-lined beach fronts

And exquisite cuisine. California fare at Alchemy Spa Cafe,

Fresh pasta and noodles at the Santa Barbara Public Market,

Homemade tacos at Corazon's weekend pop-up,

Ethiopian at Le Petit Valentien,

And raw, vegan healthy at Kotuku Elixir Bar,

I have had the privilege of experiencing this quaint village on foot,

by bicycle,

by day,

and at night.

What I have discovered is an array of eclectic shops, delicious eateries

And wonderful cobblestone streets along hidden passageways.

For a taste of La Dolce Vita on U.S. soil, Santa Barabara can't be beat and; I recommend a weekend visit or prolonged stay if you have the time, to soak up the beneficent rays of this saintly town nestled in mountains and framed by the sea.
