Miracle Tree

There are superfoods in our own backyard! Moringa, otherwise known as the Tree of Life, is one of the most amazing plants available and although it thrives in the tropical climates of Africa and parts of Asia, it can also be grown in the U.S. Check out my video detailing the making of a pot of Moringa tea!

Currently, all the rave in Europe as a miracle tree, Moringa Oleifera, is also called Nedebaye.

This wonder food is being touted as one of the most nutrient packed plants on the planet, with more vitamins and minerals than spinach, more antioxidants like vitamin C than oranges and the ability to combat just about every disease known to man. It also has 4 times the amount of calcium found in milk and the highest protein ratio of any plant so far studied on earth! Some of Moringa’s known super properties include, anti-fungal, anti-bacterial, anti-parasitic and anti-viral. And according to a very popular New York City living-food enthusiast, Moringa is the new “It” super food, more hip than Acai, Spirulina, and Chia Seeds, combined."

US medical researchers from the National Institute of Health, have found this powerful plant to be effective in lowering blood pressure, reducing the appearance of wrinkles, boosting the immune system, promoting digestion, nourishing the eyes, balancing cholesterol levels, and the list goes on.  It has been dubbed the “tree of life,” which is spoken of in the Revelations book of the Bible. This is a tree that we can grow in our own backyards!

Moringa can be taken as a tea or in capsule form. A sun tea brew is awesome.

It can also be added to soups, stews and smoothies. To order organic, fair-trade Moringa hand-picked and dried on a beautiful farm in West Africa go to Miracle Tree.

  1. A Moringa smoothie? Wow, I would love to try that! I've been experimenting about Moringa dishes, and I've tried stew, soup, and salad. Recently, I've read about an Moringa omellete but haven't tried it. I would like to make as many Moringa dishes as possible as we all know this plant has countless benefits, and it would be nice to include this to our daily meals. MoringaDelight.com
