Divine Love

The power of love cannot be overstated. And I am not speaking of romantic love, but the Love of God. When we as human beings tap into the expansive power of divine love, the divine within us is awakened. Love is a force like gravity that exists everywhere we are. It is omnipresent. All we need do is open up our inner awareness and let this understanding flow forth out into the world. We can create this opening through prayer, meditation, fasting, etc. And once the channel is free, all the love that is God's nature will become our own. This love will not be clouded by our human ego, but will flow free and clear into everything we do and say, all that we are. Loving as a tangible daily practice looks like this:

Blessing the morning when you arise.
Seeing the divine essence in your children or spouse at first greeting and throughout the day.
Knowing others at work as the pure light of God that they are.
Trusting in the good outcome of all circumstances, despite evidence to the contrary.

Detoxing my body, has allowed me to love more deeply and fully. A love that springs forth from within my being, not for a particular person, place or thing, but a universal love and acceptance of all things present on God's green earth. Blessedly, the earth's abundance has been loving me back. I am approaching the seventh day of the 2nd phase of my cleansing detox fast and I am down to the last of this wonderful kit...

So far, my experience has been phenomenal. My clarity of vision, creative capacity and peace of mind have increased exponentially. I feel as if a light was turned on within me, one that had been off for years. I feel enlightened, inspired and extremely driven to create beauty everywhere. I found these wonderful ceramic pots to hold a very special body oil that I make. This oil is in honor of my late husband, who inspired it and chose my company name years ago. Now back by popular demand, My Egyptian Rose Body Oil is all organic, 100% pure and very therapeutic, not to mention a true beauty inside and out. It smells heavenly, goes on thick and luscious and a little goes a long way. Healing for dry skin, eczema, itchy scalp, dandruff, it can be used all over. Have a look.

I am filled with delight with the prospect of giving one of these away to an extra special reader. Pictured here is the Midnight Blue ceramic pot. I also have Red clay Maroon, Moonlight and Nile river green which you can check out at etsy.com/shop/sianatural. To win, simply offer a special blessing to Egypt and to all its citizens. Here is a quote from Khalil Gibran to inspire you. Let me know your thoughts through email or comments.

"Your soul is oftentimes a battlefield, upon which your reason and

your judgment wage war against passion and your appetite.

Would that I could be the peacemaker in your soul, that I might turn

the discord and the rivalry of your elements into oneness and melody."

This sublime yoga Child's pose helps me to stay centered and grounded in my love for self, others and God and the Lotus pose helps me to forgive and let go of judgment and anxiety.

I have been loving the light sensation within that eating raw foods gives me, though I am looking forward to the next phase of my cleansing. Tomorrow, I complete the Raw Detox kit and start on seven days of all vegetarian comfort foods. These foods will supply my body with rich nutrients- vitamins, minerals, fiber and protein to rebuild the tissues that have been thoroughly cleansed and revitalized. Here are some wonderful and healthy foods that I intend to enjoy over the next week and beyond.

Chop this Organic Parsley up small and it provides a great base for a salad.

Add some Organic Black Olives

Then a handful of these plum tomatoes and a squeeze of lemon and some Organic Hemp Oil an excellent source of essential fatty acids and a great tasting oil. You now have a tasty salad reminiscent of Tabouleh!

Lundberg Organic Brown Rice Cakes with Tamari and Seaweed are so delicious for a hearty lunch, too!

Try these with organic freshly ground peanut butter.

For dinner, I like to bake these and eat them as is. They are so sweet and luscious.

Sprinkle them with a bit of Hawaiian Red Sea Salt, a fine alternative to over-processed, bleached table salt.

I like to steam some Organic Quinoa as well...

...and then have it with this tasty and health enhancing Cultured Daikon with Ginger.

Eating cultured or fermented foods is so amazing for the digestive system. Our bodies love it and that's why most cultures have some form of cultured product in their traditional diet. Ogi in Nigeria, Kimchi in Korea, Sauerkrat in Germany, Yogurt, Kefir, Pickles, etc. Because of their high enzyme content and plethora of good bacteria they help to digest food and eliminate waste.
